The neighbouring coast

Puerto Escondido

Minutes south along the unpaved coastal road.

Playa Puerto Escondido lies only minutes from Destiladeros: rock, tide, light and intimate marine observation when conditions align.

It is known locally for its rock formations and for tide-dependent marine observation, with snorkelling potential under suitable conditions. Tide, visibility, current, swell and local guidance all matter.

The coastline runs south from Destiladeros as a sequence of rock shelves, small bays and pasture edged by dry forest. The unpaved coastal road follows it, and the beaches at Puerto Escondido and the land held by Panamaes lie along the same stretch.

International luxury travel media has drawn attention to Reserva Ecológica Panamaes, approximately five minutes from Playa Destiladeros, as an example of the region’s conservation-led coastal development. A reforested setting of some 1,527 acres. A neighbouring reference, separately owned, with no affiliation to Ocean Properties / OP Capital.
