Pedasí sits on the southeastern edge of Panama's Azuero Peninsula, where a compact town opens onto a long Pacific coastline of beaches, headlands and working rural landscapes. The appeal is not one landmark but the rhythm of the place: mornings shaped by the sea, an unhurried town centre, and easy access to open coast. Southwest of Pedasí, Playa Destiladeros has a quieter, more residential character, with broad ocean views and a sense of space that remains closely connected to the town. Farther offshore, Isla Iguana is known for clear water, white sand and marine life, while the surrounding coast draws surfers, anglers, divers and seasonal whale watchers. Inland, the Azuero Peninsula retains its own cultural identity through villages, ranching country, craft traditions and local festivals.
