Everything on both sides of you, in one name. Land next door, once taken, does not come back to the market.
Pedasí sits at the southern end of the Azuero Peninsula, on Panama's Pacific coast. Playa Destiladeros is ten minutes from town, between Puerto Escondido and Playa Panamaes.
As the seat of its district, the town concentrates the essential services and makes daily life easier. You will find a town hall, branches of Banco Nacional de Panamá and Caja de Ahorros, an airport and the MINSA-CAPSI, the Ministry of Health primary care centre.
Everyday needs are met without leaving the district: supermarkets, pharmacies, hardware stores, bakeries, butchers, laundries, fuel stations and a varied choice of restaurants.
For emergencies, the district is covered by SUME 911, the national pre-hospital service. The Panamanian Red Cross, for its part, keeps a local committee in Pedasí, with a base and community volunteers.
